MEWANT Steering Wheel Cover for Toyota 4-Runner Land Cruiser 150 Series (J150) Sequoia Tacoma Tundra 2014-2022

It is possible to do with the wheel in the vehicle but it's easier to do it with it off. Love the look and feel of it.

My steering wheel was in bad shape from wear and tear. I was looking for a quality steering leather cover replacement. This is one!

First the Good: Great Quality leather! Look awesome.

The bad: Takes a lot of time and very tedious to install it. Almost gave up, but I was already committed, so there was no turning back.

If it weren't for the reviews, I would've assumed this was another crap product.

I only purchased this item because another reviewer mentioned the high quality leather. I purchased another steering wheel from another vendor that claimed to use leather but this vendor actually uses very high quality leather!

In order to have a seamless cover, you absolutely need to take the steering wheel off.

It took a lot of time but was absolutely worth it. This fit my 2013 Tacoma perfectly.

I did need to use glue at the 3 o'clock and 6 o'clock areas to make the leather look perfectly seamless.

100% would purchase from this vendor again. Very very satisfied.

This is a nice leather cover but it does take a decent amount of time and effort to hand sew it onto your steering wheel. Once I finished installing it, I loved it! So glad I completed that and get to enjoy it.

Seems to be great quality and looks great on my ‘13 Tacoma. Took me about a full day at my perfectionist pace. Won’t go into too much detail because there’s videos on YouTube but here are some tips:
1.) the pattern of stitching can be changed depending on how you stitch, just watch some different videos and see which one you like best.
2.) take off the airbag and steering controls (very easy to do on Tacoma) to make things easier while stitching
3.) make sure the cover fully wraps around the steering wheel (both ends touch when wrapped around the steering wheel). This is because the leather can only stretch so much while stitching and may not be able to close some gaps in some tight spaces. Doing this on a warmer day will help that stretching. Apply the included tape all over the inside of the cover to hold it in place while sewing.
